Marshall Health and Marshall University Athletics is recruiting for an Assistant Athletic Trainer to provide coverage to its Women's Swim & Dive team. This position is employed by Marshall University Athletics and Marshall Health. Utilizing the independent medical model of care, this position will operate under the direction of the Marshall University Head Team Physician. Medical coverage will be provided to Marshall University NCAA Division I athletic teams.

Key Responsibilities:
Daily medical coverage for select Marshall University NCAA Division I athletic teams and other duties assigned by the Marshall University Head Athletic Trainer.
Responsibility for accurate record keeping, insurance billing and communicating with physicians, coaches, athletic trainers, and student athletic trainers.
Teaching responsibilities include clinical supervision of student athletic trainers.
Requirements
1) Bachelor Degree in Athletic Training required. Master’s Degree in Athletic Training preferred.
2) BOC Certification required.
3) Two years of experience in intercollegiate athletic training or equivalent preferred.
4) Must be able to perform all essential job duties as outlined in the job description.
5) CPR and First Aid Instructor certification preferred.
